As your first guests at Llewin Cottage, we would like to wish you a richly deserved success. It is easy to see the thought that has gone into the place and your empathy with guests. In everything from the entertainment selections to the little comforts included. We enjoyed the trees, garden and birds and the stroll down the road to one of the oldest trees in Maldon. Best wishes and we’ll be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this idyllic spot and in this truly lovely cottage. So comfortable and lovely, a true retreat. We feel very relaxed here. We would have liked to stay longer — hard to leave! Hopefully we’ll be back one day.

We’ve had a wonderful week with friends and the Easter Festival. We didn’t use the spa! or TV but enjoyed the garden, fire and music system ... And the electric blankets were a novelty for us.

As city dwellers this was the perfect retreat for us. No phones, no noise, no stress, lots of wine. We were amazed at the quality and thought behind the little touches at this wonderful cottage. Thanks for the memories.

Thankyou for sharing the beautiful Llewin Cottage with our family. We were enchanted by all the charming touches and the warmth of the fire during the chilly Maldon evenings. The sun room, bedrooms and restful lounge gave us much needed respite from our busy city lives. We all look forward to one day visiting this lovely historical cottage again.

Couldn’t have asked for anything more, didn’t get to use sunroom or gardens (except view) due to the inclement weather but look forward to returning in the new season to appreciate more of what the cottage and Maldon have to offer. Will definitely recommend.
